The term End of Days is a term most people associate with the book of Revelation and also believe this book of the bible is a time far, far away. Well I’m here to tell you not only is it NOT, far, far away but in my heart, gut and spirit I truly believe the period of time call Revelation is not only a few years away but the return of Christ is 12-20 years away.

A pastor friend of mine shared the above video with me and as I watched it I was truly amazed how the information in the video was more evidence to help me believe we only have about roughly 20 years before the Lord Jesus Christ returns. Let me share with you my reasons for this belief.

When I was younger and read the book of Genesis in chapter 3 it reads

And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not always strive with man, for he also is flesh; yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.

I used to believe that man would live for 120 years but as we know early man lived for over 900 years and in recent years man lives to be an average age of 75. So what does this verse mean?

In the Jewish culture there is something called a Jubilee Year. A Jubilee year comes around every 50 years. In the Jewish culture, when a Jubilee year comes around this is when debt is forgiven and what was lost will now be given back. To learn more about the meaning of a Jubilee Year, click this link.

It is no coincidence that we are hearing the term debt jubilee used and associating it with debt forgiveness.

If you take 120 years and multiply it by 50, a Jubilee year you get 6,000 years which is the timeframe that according to the bible is associated with man’s timeframe on earth. Once the 6,000 years are up we will enter a thousand years of rest which represents the 7 day creation timeline.

2017 marked the beginning of a Jubilee year. So it is my belief that we have roughly a 50 year window before the return of Christ.
