Are you relentless?

For this message, we are going to take a look at the locust. When swarms of locusts were approaching in years past, it would terrify the people more than an approaching army. People would rather deal with the horses, spears and shields than the locust because when the locust came into the city they would turn the city upside down. They could destroy crops, cattle, empires and civilizations.

The bible says that we must heed the voice of the locust because the locust knows something God wants us to know. If we can begin to operate and focus like the locust, there is nothing we can’t do.

The bible mentions attributes of the locust that are important to know. There are animals and insects that hunt or catch food by themselves but the locust never does anything by himself. If you are going to learn from the locust, you must get away from an individual approach and begin to understand that to receive this blessing that God is releasing in 2020, you can’t go in by yourself.

Locusts come in a swarm, in a mass, in a pact. The bible says, when the locusts would come into the city, they would blacken the sky. There was nothing you could do or build to guard against an approaching swarm of locust.

Sometimes we need to run with hungry people. Stop running with weak, satisfied, laid back, mediocre people. We need to run with people that have an appetite for life, for God, for the blessing He has for us. These are people that eat what’s in front of them and they don’t mind if you eat what’s in front of you. Locusts only run with people that have a great appetite. We need to surround ourselves with people that won’t be defeated.

When you look at Martin Luther King, Gandhi and even Spartacus (I love Spartacus, LOL) it only takes one man with a locust appetite to get one or two more with a similar appetite to make a difference.

For the move of God that is coming in 2020, you must let someone help you. Some of us have an issue with letting others into our life. You don’t want to talk to anyone, or let anyone in for trust issues. You won’t admit to anyone that you need anything. But the locusts will teach you that we need help to get the blessing that God is about to release.

The message of the locusts is Don’t Quit. No matter how many obstacles or walls built up against you. Never Give Up. The locusts will teach you, if you can’t get in the door, go through the window. If you can’t get in through the window, climb down the gutter. The locusts will teach you to keep fighting.

Locusts are not big but they are RELENTLESS.

Some of us were sick as a baby but you’re still here. Some had a lump on your breast, but you’re still here. Some had life and death surgery, but your still here. Some of you are on blood pressure medication, but your still here.

You’re probably more relentless than you realize.
